Chad Wilkie - New Zealand
As a Chartered Accountant by profession, Chad forged a
career as a professional advisor to large corporate, and as
a senior Partner managing the tax consulting practice of
Deloitte New Zealand and Asia Pacific. From 1990 Chad was a
member of the National Management Committee (NMC) for
Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in New Zealand.
In June 2002 Chad established Ignition Partner Limited to
advise companies on strategies for growth from innovation,
with an emphasis on Strategy, Capability and Commitment. In
2005 Chad was appointed as an Expert Reviewer for the
Foundation for Research, Science and Technology.Chad
Wilkie's special areas of interest are strategic and
operational planning for innovative companies, shaping
growth companies for capital transactions, and the practical
aspects of venture formation.
Chad has worked with many early stage and mature technology
companies since 1998 particularly in the niche-manufacturing
sector. Recent sector involvement has included medical
devices, nutraceuticals and functional foods, light
engineering and IT systems.
Chad Wilkie has a BCom from Auckland University, and is a
qualified Chartered Accountant and member of ICANZ.
