Rick Christie - New Zealand

Rick is a professional director and chairman who has spent 21 years in the oil industry with BP an New Zealand and overseas. He was the CEO of Cable Price Downer which is a diversified industrial group followed by CEO of Tradenz, the NZ Trade Development Board and then CEO of Rangitira, a diversified investment company.

Past roles have included Chairman of AgResearch, member of the Growth and Innovation Advisory Board, director of Tourism Holdings, Wakefield Hospital and the NZ Pork Industry Board.

Rick has an extensive background in management including 21 years in the oil industry in New Zealand and overseas.

Rick has a strong sports, media and arts track records being a past director of TV NZ, a founding director of the NZ Symphony Orchestra and past President of Chamber Music NZ.

Rick is married with three adult children and lives in Wellington.
