Geoffrey Pitt

Geoffrey sees his new role as shortening the business learning curve for his clients and helping them grow into more confident, powerful and visionary people who embrace change.

Once an elite hockey player and coach, Geoffrey has applied his sporting prowess to Senior Executive coaching, helping clients to develop their team skills, learn new tactics, be on the ball and play the corporate game as best they can.

An adept problem solver and trouble shooter and a highly experienced executive, strategist and marketer, Geoffrey sees his new role as shortening the business learning curve for his clients and helping them grow into more confident, powerful and visionary people who embrace change.

For Geoffrey, the key to this "gentle repackaging" of individuals and successful team efforts is treating others in business and life generally as they would expect to be treated themselves. The result for each of his clients is a strong game plan, clear goals, scores on the board and a higher level of emotional empathy for team mates and other players which is often lacking in the field of commerce.

Geoffrey's own training in business has seen him lead both small and large teams of people at all levels of management in the private and public sectors here in Australia and also in Asia and the USA. His forte in business, particularly in the retail sector, was taking the helm at a new company and turning the ink on the budget sheets from red to black.

His career has included top level positions at David Jones, John Martin Retailers, The TAB, Wilton International and the Retail Planning Associates of Australia. He has also helped manage major international sporting events, boasts board experience with more than a dozen sporting, cultural and business groups, and is involved in various community activities including fundraising for the Olympic Games.

Married with three adult children, Geoffrey still enjoys sport, today preferring to walk, cycle, go to the gym and play golf and tennis as well as watch major international sporting events. He is also interested in art, gardening and travel.
