“We can all benefit from a guiding hand and sounding board to achieve our full potential.”

Getting the right people in the right roles and building their performance as a team and as individuals has been a theme throughout Matthew Quinn’s executive career.

As Managing Director of Stockland, he drove the strategy that saw it grow from a medium-sized company to its current Top 30 ASX position, increasing Stockland’s assets from $1.5 billion to more than $12 billion.

Matthew says that a key factor to this success was ensuring executives were empowered to act, held accountable and had the space and opportunity to develop themselves.

“For me, coaching is all about helping executives to achieve their potential. Coaching was a significant part of my executive career and I have seen the difference it has made to team and individual performance.”

Matthew’s guiding beliefs are complete honesty, openness and authenticity. He knows the pressures of life at the top and works with clients to better manage the stresses of executive life, build their focus on strategy and achieve real outcomes for their businesses.

Matthew is regarded as an industry leader in the property sector and is a sought-after media commentator with a deep understanding of the relationships between business and all levels of government. He has served as President of the Property Council of Australia and as a director of the Business Council of Australia.
