Ron Cohen :Foresight's Global Coaching

After decades of unbroken years as a Director and leader of various Public Companies my motivation is to make sure that the lessons learned are not wasted,” says Ron Cohen. “I am driven to help others achieve or even surpass their life goals.”

Ron has been a director of a large number of listed companies since the age of 25 and has been involved in a number of mergers, acquisitions, a large IPO and a number of rights issues and placements.

As Managing Director of Atkins Carlyle Ltd, Ron took a small Western Australian wholesale distributor of automotive, electrical and industrial supplies and turned it into a multi-million dollar company with operations in all states and New Zealand.

Other directorships included Chairman of the State Government Insurance Commission (SGIC) of Western Australia, leading the IPO and overseeing the listing of SGIO Insurance Limited on the Australia Stock Exchange. Ron was also Chairman of SIMCOA and Director of Foodland Associated Limited.

“My direct personal involvement in building great teams in diverse businesses has clearly demonstrated the benefit of personal mentoring for all individuals, teams and organizations,” he says.

“I enjoy passing on through my coaching, these lessons learned in the marketplace,” says Ron. Ron is married to Valda and has three children and eight grandchildren.
