Rebecca Davies
“Rebecca’s commitment is to using
her skills and experience to help Australian organisations
become World leaders, and in assisting executives to perform at
their best.”
In both her professional and personal life, Rebecca Davies
understands the importance of team work and the value of solo
success. Rebecca has combined a highly successful legal career
with a personal passion for singing as a long-term member and
occasional soloist of several choirs.
Rebecca views her role with Foresight's Global Coaching
partnership as an invaluable opportunity to help high performers
reach their full potential, break through barriers and identify
and achieve their goals.
Rebecca was a partner at one of Australia’s leading law firms
for more than 26 years, and has served as a Board member. As the
firm’s practice area leader for commercial litigation in Sydney
as well as litigation in Brisbane, Rebecca coached and nurtured
into partnership some star performers and championed the cause
of increasing the number of women partners in the firm.
As a coach, Rebecca uses her experience and understanding of the
dynamics of partnership, and her years of leading some of
Australia’s most complex and difficult legal cases, to provide
wise counsel and act as a sounding board for executives dealing
with complex problems. Rebecca was regularly rated as one of
Australia’s top legal practitioners by both peers and clients,
and is a sought-after commentator on a wide range of legal and
business issues.
She has regularly advised major companies, both national and
international, and Government bodies on how to manage complex
commercial disputes and the challenges of dealing with strategic
change.
Rebecca also has more than 12 years Board experience across a
diverse range of commercial and not-for-profit organisations
including the Private Health Administration Council and the
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
A
mother to two teenagers, Rebecca also has extensive interests
outside of work, including her passion for singing, art and
keeping fit for the rigours of corporate life.
